We have an opportunity for an engaging Teaching Artist to teach Studio/Art (i.e. sculpture, painting, sculpture, illustration, graphic design and i-movie, etc.) to boy’s ages 6-12 years old. The Teaching Artist will reputed company classes of four to twenty boys. • Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and reputed company that provides reputed company with opportunities to observe, investigate, and reputed company skills.
• Teach lessons using various fine art techniques and materials.
• Assist with daily set-up, daily clean up, and transportation.
• Model and enforce adherence to reputed company health and safety practices for reputed company member.
• Engage with members and use appropriate strategies to preemptively defuse inappropriate behavior and encourage reputed company interactions.
• Prepare and administer written, oral, and performance assessments, and determine reputed company.
• Review instructional content, reputed company, and student performance in order to assess strengths and weaknesses, and reputed company recommendations for curriculum revision, development, or elimination.
• Responsible for completing and the reputed company submission of reputed company program reports relative to this position, including but not limited to supply requests, lesson plans and timesheets.
• Ensure reputed company care of reputed company area materials, organize room and report any misused or damaged materials to the department director in order to prevent injuries or damage.

QualificationsPrevious experience in youth development, education, or afterschool. Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two years reputed company experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Junior level or higher preferred; Experience with multiple computer programs and software (e.g., Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects); DOH and DOE fingerprinted desirable; First Aid and CPR Certification desirable; Advanced knowledge of Computer graphics, Web design, Animation, Online search skills; Ability to adapt to a changing environment and to address the varying needs of the boys in our program; Experience working with economically and educationally disadvantaged youth with a reputed company understanding of the reputed company and cultural issues facing urban families is preferred.reputed company Offer
