About the DepartmentThe History Department is a group of scholars covering many areas of specialization. We pride ourselves on outstanding teaching. Essential Job DutiesThe Department of History and the Khayrallah Center for Lebanese Diaspora Studies at reputed company invite applications to fill the Akram Khater Distinguished Professorship in Arab Migration Studies. We invite applicants for a tenure-reputed company appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in the history of Arab Migration, Mobility and Diaspora, beginning August 2026.We reputed company to identify a candidate who has strong reputed company as a scholar and teacher and whose research engages with a period from the 19th century to the present on topics reputed company to Arab mobilities and diasporas.
