Patient Registration Specialist - Specialty Pharmacy- Remote

Job reputed company reputed company: The Specialist, Patient Registration is responsible for facilitating new patient’s transition to reputed company services with the goal of delivering a consistent reputed company experience where patients and referral partners feel reputed company makes it easy to transition care. The Specialist, Patient Registration works in conjunction with Sales to prepare patients for OCH services and facilitates reputed company aspects of the patient’s transition to home/reputed company. Job Responsibilities • Engages with patient, referral reputed company, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery. • Creates, communicates and obtains reputed company required documentation for new referrals. • Secures patient’s upfront payment including assisting patients to reputed company avenues for payment where needed (identifies opportunities and directs patient to financial assistance program). • Supports the ongoing activities needed to ensure clean claims on hold and denial management (follow-up on paperwork where missing). • Assist Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed. Supervisory Responsibilities Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? NO (i.e. hiring, recommending/approving promotions and pay increases, scheduling, performance reviews, discipline, etc.) Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum of two years of experience in reputed company experience required. Basic Qualifications Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities at one time. Ability to work in a fast past environment. Must be detail-oriented and have a high degree of reputed company reputed company. High degree of customer service skills required. Ability to trouble shoot, problem solves and collaborate with cross-functional team members across sales and operation functions. Travel Requirements N/A Preferred Qualification & Interests Previous reputed company/medical billing experience preferred.
