Full-Time PE & Health Educator (Grades 912)

A public high school in Chester, Pennsylvania is seeking a motivated and experienced High School Teacher for a full-time position in the upcoming 2025–2026 academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who brings strong classroom leadership, instructional mastery, and a passion for supporting students in an urban educational setting. Responsibilities: • Deliver daily instruction aligned with Pennsylvania state and district standards • Create and implement detailed lesson plans that support differentiated instruction and formative assessment • Effectively manage classroom behavior and foster a structured, supportive learning environment • Track and report student progress regularly while collaborating with administrators and support staff • Build positive relationships with students and families to support academic and behavioral growth • Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and initiative in a high-needs setting Qualifications: • Active Pennsylvania teaching certification or eligibility for an Emergency Teaching Permit (Bachelor’s degree required) • Must complete all PA state clearances prior to start • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a school setting • Proven ability to implement effective classroom and behavior management strategies • Previous experience working in an urban school district is preferred • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Why Blazer Jobs?
