Skills • Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D • Experience in reducing and processing survey data • Familiarity with GPS/field surveying • Trimble business software experience is a plus • Land Surveyor-in-Training (LSIT) certification is a plus Responsibilities • Pre-calculate survey data for construction staking and design information in AutoCAD Civil 3D • Respond to field survey requests from contractors and clients via email and phone • Coordinate field crew schedules to balance survey requests and personnel availability • Organize and manage field data uploads and downloads • Interpret field notes and sketches • Perform various computations related to surveys, plats, and easements • Produce detailed topographic surveys and various survey-related documents using AutoCAD • Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits for parcel and easement acquisition • Compile land title information from title reports and records research Qualifications • Minimum of one year of relevant work experience as a Land Survey Technician • Strong background in preparing survey exhibits such as Plats, Legal Descriptions, and Final Maps • Experience in GPS and field surveying Education Requirements • Relevant degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred Education Requirements Credential Category • Land Surveyor-in-Training (LSIT) certification is a plus Experience Requirements • At least one year of experience in land surveying and related work Why work in Pleasanton, CA Pleasanton offers a vibrant community with excellent schools, abundant parks, and recreational opportunities.
