Back Office Supervisor

About the position Responsibilities • Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the back office across all specialty departments • Supervise, train, and evaluate medical assistants and other support staff • Collaborate with medical directors to implement and maintain clinical protocols and procedures • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards • Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment • Coordinate patient flow and optimize scheduling processes • Act as a liaison between clinical staff, administrative staff, and patients • Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives • Assist in the development and management of departmental budgets • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of back office staff • Address and resolve patient complaints and concerns • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation • Any and all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field (Master's degree preferred) • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role • Strong knowledge of medical office procedures and healthcare regulations • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office suite • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment • Experience in quality improvement and process optimization • Familiarity with multiple medical specialties, particularly Psychology, PM&R, Neurology, and Psychiatry.
