We are seeking an exceptional Senior Vice President, Product Development to lead our transformation initiatives within the risk vertical of our product development organization. As a key member of our team, you will drive success by leveraging your strong and diverse skillset, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering complex projects under tight deadlines.
About Us
Our Product Development team is at the forefront of driving process improvements, analyzing business requirements, and translating user needs into functional specifications. We oversee a wide array of front-office systems, including trade capture, pricing and risk, inventory management, settlement, and database management, as well as business intelligence and reporting.
Your Primary Focus
You will play a critical role in mapping out changes required to deliver transformation programs related to Risk infrastructure, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and value-added solutions. You will work closely with teams across front office, risk & control, finance, operations, and technology to execute strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership within the Product Development team and represent Spread Products in cross-functional working groups
- Partner with teams across other business lines, credit risk organization, finance, operations, transformation, and technology
- Assess technology offerings, identify synergies, and apply best-in-class features consistently across various lines of business
- Define proposed target state architecture, ensuring alignment with business needs and resolving problems in existing disparate processes
- Ensure all requirements are clearly documented, approved, and developed per specification
- Present management with proposed strategies and updates
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in project management, technology, or business consulting, with leadership or management roles (Risk domain preferred)
- Deep knowledge of fixed income, credit, and rates-related markets and products
- Experience in the risk domain within Markets, with the ability to critically evaluate business asks and technology solutions
- Proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects under tight deadlines with changing priorities
- Articulate presenter with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and inquisitive, with an interest in financial markets
