Student Ministry Director - Full-Time Opportunity in Atlanta, GA

As a Student Ministry Director at Northside United Methodist Church, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional ministry experiences for our congregation. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive student ministry program that includes fellowship, worship, biblical teaching, discipleship, and evangelism. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build effective relationships with students, parents, and staff, and your ability to vision cast and articulate a discipleship strategy will help to drive the growth and success of our student ministry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive student ministry program for 6th-12th grades
- Build relationships with students, parents, and staff to create a supportive and inclusive community
- Plan and execute events, retreats, and mission trips that promote spiritual growth and development
- Recruit, train, and equip adult leaders and students to support the student ministry
- Develop and manage a ministry budget to ensure effective use of resources
- Collaborate with other church ministries to create a cohesive and comprehensive approach to discipleship
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Student Ministry, Theological, or Biblical Studies preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in student ministry or a related field
- Strong foundation in Christian discipleship and a passion for student evangelism and discipleship
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to vision cast and articulate a discipleship strategy
- Current First Aid, CPR, and AED training
- Valid driver's license
