Assistant Professor (Spanish) - Remote Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Spanish language courses to students in a classroom setting, focusing on listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills
- Employ current foreign language teaching theories and methods, utilizing technology such as Smart Boards, the Internet, iPods, and Tablet PCs
- Integrate technology into the classroom and homework assignments to enhance student learning
- Stay abreast of current events and cultural issues related to the Spanish-speaking world
- Participate in faculty development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with industry trends
Requirements:
- Ph.D. or master's degree in Foreign Language Education, Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language (TESOL/TEFL), Linguistics, Language, Literature, Education, Educational Psychology, Educational Technology, Translation & Interpretation, Cross-Cultural Studies, or Educational Administration
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in Spanish fluently
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English fluently
- Experience in formal classroom instruction of a language foreign to students at the high school level or above
- Diagnostic Assessment (DA) certification is desirable
