Remote Pharmacy Technician - Appeals Department

In this critical role, you'll work closely with patients, primarily focusing on Medicare cases, to resolve denied Prior Authorizations. Your responsibilities will include reviewing case information, gathering additional details, and preparing cases for pharmacists' final determination. You'll also communicate directly with elderly members, addressing their concerns and ensuring patient satisfaction through outbound calls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process denied Prior Authorizations and prepare cases for pharmacists' review
- Communicate with patients, primarily elderly members, to address concerns and resolve issues
- Make outbound calls to resolve issues and ensure patient satisfaction
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other stakeholders to drive success
Requirements:
- Pharmacy Technician experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Computer proficiency and ability to work remotely and independently
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 8 PM (8-hour shift), with a preferred location in South or North Carolina, Arizona, Florida, or Alabama.
