About the Role
The Global Strategic Account and Operations Manager at American Express Global Business Travel is a high-impact leadership position, focused on delivering exceptional client experiences, driving revenue growth, and ensuring operational excellence. You'll develop and execute strategic account plans, cultivate strong relationships, and leverage innovative solutions to enhance service delivery and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored account strategies to drive growth and revenue expansion for assigned clients.
- Design and execute revenue growth initiatives, leveraging market research and competitor analysis to showcase the value of Amex GBT products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including business partners and regional market leads, to ensure seamless collaboration and support.
- Lead business planning, quarterly and annual reviews, and pricing strategies for strategic accounts, ensuring alignment with client goals and expectations.
- Drive operational excellence, ensuring sourcing managers and meeting managers meet or exceed client expectations and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Contribute to content development for client innovation forums, supporting agenda ideas and thought leadership initiatives.
- Identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to drive profitability and growth, developing creative pricing strategies and contributing to ongoing client P&L management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in M&E Operations, including SOP creation and meeting technology knowledge (Cvent).
- Deep global M&E subject matter expertise, with a track record of driving growth and leading service-focused operations.
- Experience handling a P&L, with a strong understanding of financial management and analysis.
