Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the operations team to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, optimize equipment settings, and recommend improvements.
• Develop and implement training programs to ensure that operators are proficient in the safe and effective operation of equipment.
• Provide technical support and guidance to operators and maintenance personnel to resolve equipment-related issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive innovation, reduce costs, and enhance overall equipment performance.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including equipment manuals, operating procedures, and maintenance records.
• Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source equipment, parts, and services, ensuring that all purchases are made in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, new technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive equipment performance and innovation.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in equipment operation, maintenance, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and optimize equipment performance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with operators, maintenance personnel, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on safety, quality, and compliance.
• Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other technical software applications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a variety of environmental conditions (e.g., noise, heat, cold).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in equipment operation, maintenance, or a related field (e.g., CMRP, CEM, or equivalent).
• Experience with automation, robotics, or other advanced technologies.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques.
• Experience with data analysis and performance metrics (e.g., OEE, MTBF, MTTR).
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute equipment-related projects.
