About the Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Communication Specialist to join our Contact Center team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for capturing sensitive information via inbound calls, creating exceptional customer experiences, and supporting our flagship product for Hotline & Incident Management services. Your work will have a direct impact on our organizational goals and contribute to a safer, more ethical work environment for our customers worldwide.
What You'll Do:
- Engage with reporters in a respectful and empathetic manner, ensuring their concerns are heard and addressed with care and confidentiality
- Answer calls from various industries in a timely and professional manner, following our intake process and exercising sound judgment to meet callers' needs
- Lead reporters through a guided interview process, asking relevant questions and capturing accurate and detailed information
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity
- Assist with special projects and departmental responsibilities as assigned
- Work flexibly in a 24/7 operation, adapting to changing schedules and priorities as needed
What You'll Need:
- Outstanding customer service skills, with a strong focus on empathy, active listening, and results-driven approach
- Emotional resilience and ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
- A quiet, secure home office or workspace with reliable internet connectivity (25 mbps download, 10 mbps upload)
- Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM and strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with MS Office and ability to navigate proprietary software applications
- Openness to change, adaptability, and a growth mindset
