Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Analytics Engineer - Content to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our data-driven organization, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our strategic data initiatives. Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with data experts and business stakeholders to translate business objectives and product requirements into actionable data assets
• Design, deploy, maintain, and monitor data pipelines in support of business intelligence and data science products
• Optimize and refine data assets within the data warehouse over time through improvement and iteration initiatives
• Develop and scale business intelligence analyses to address partner use cases and business needs
• Enhance the data catalog through documentation of business logic and data transformations
• Work with data governance to enforce normalization and consistency of core business metrics and dimensions
• Help define and democratize internal standards for code best practices, including style, readability, and effectiveness
• Create compelling self-service dashboards and analyses that drive tangible business results

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Data Analysis, or Data Science
• Demonstrated expertise in using workflow management and data cataloging/documentation tools
• Advanced-level SQL/Python/R/AWS skills that enable you to comfortably and independently extract and combine data from diverse sources

Preferred Qualifications:

• Academic curiosity for what drives the business
• Experience building data systems for growing sovereignty models, advancing subscription services, or data-driven pricing strategies
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau and Microstrategy
