Remote Pharmacy Data Entry Specialist - Arizona
Join our team at Aeetna as a Remote Pharmacy Data Entry Specialist! This is a fully remote opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong data entry skills and a passion for accuracy. You will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of patient medication orders by precisely entering information into our systems. Responsibilities:
- Accurately review, interpret, and enter patient medication information into the PC system.
- Calculate dosages, assign directions, and process insurance payments.
- Communicate with pharmacies and insurance agencies to verify order accuracy.
- Handle patient calls to clarify medication requests and reorders, verifying benefits.
- Valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician License required.
- 6+ months of experience working in a pharmacy setting.
- 6+ months of experience with Windows-based applications (Windows, Microsoft Office, web browsing, email).
- 6+ months of keyboarding experience and proficiency.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (8-10 hours).
- Experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Experience handling and resolving customer inquiries via phone.
- Experience with healthcare, benefits, and insurance.
- Experience with medical billing, coding, or clinical support roles.
- Customer service experience in an office environment.
- Experience with inbound and outbound telephone customer care.
