Medical Biller AR Specialist Virtual Assistant

Join our client’s growing physical therapy practice dedicated to providing exceptional care and service to patients across Kansas, Missouri, and Arizona. Virtual Rockstar is looking for a detailoriented and proactive Medical Biller Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our client’s billing and revenue cycle management team. Responsibilities • Accurately prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies (electronic and paper). • * Post payments from insurance companies and patients into the EMR system. • * Reconcile patient accounts and identify discrepancies or payment issues. • * Follow up on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims with insurance companies. • * Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) for accuracy and resolve discrepancies. • * Maintain an organized accounts receivable system and generate regular aging reports. • * Work closely with the practice’s administrative team to ensure timely revenue collection. • * Assist with correcting billing errors and resubmitting claims when necessary. • Requirements • Proven experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or claims management. • * Familiarity with Prompt EMR and Microsoft Office Suite. • * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment. • * Knowledge of CPT, ICD10, and insurance billing guidelines is a plus. • * Experience in healthcare administration or physical therapy billing is preferred. • Benefits • Competitive salary commensurate with experience. • * Opportunities for professional development and growth. • * Work in a dynamic and supportive team environment. • * Make a meaningful impact by helping to build and strengthen families in the Philippines. • Salary: $6.007.00 This offer from "Virtual Rockstar Careers" has been enriched by Jobgether.com and got a 75% flex score.
