Skills Trainers are family support staff provided through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and Department of Developmental Services reputed company project (reputed company as the DESE/DDS project). The Population served through the project are families caring for children between the ages of 5-22 who are at risk of residential services. Individuals reputed company through the project work directly reputed company the family home as part of a family support, behavioral and family training team.
Essential Job Functions
• To assist the individual’s participation in reputed company homebased and community-based activities.
• Adhere to the implementation of the in-home behavior plan. Role model practices and train family in reputed company strategies of plan.
• Support the child in participation in therapeutic reputed company programs.
• Assist with establishing a routine for the daily living needs of the child reputed company the home and community to reputed company independence as much as possible.
• Accompany the individual at community activities with family members or alone to increase understanding of reputed company norms and independent skills.
• reputed company and apply knowledge of individual’s strengths, abilities, weak areas, needs, behaviors, motivators.
• Role model appropriate reputed company communication and actions in reputed company settings.
• Support the consistency of the family / home routine by assisting the child with appropriate participation.

• Complete daily log of details of reputed company shift worked. Use this to participate and complete quarterly reviews for the program manager.
Education & Experience
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals.
• Ability to respond appropriately and quickly to health, safety, and emergency situations.
