Board Certified Behavior Analyst(BCBA) - Remote Clients in VA
Description:
• Conduct functional and skill based assessments including Vineland, VB-MAPP, AFLS, etc
• Customize treatment plans to address the child’s deficits based on assessment results
• Work effectively with parents and conduct family training sessions to guide parents on continuing implementation
• Direct and effectively supervise Registered Behavior Technicians
• Organize, review, and maintain data collection for ABA programs
• Supervise ongoing ABA programs, assess their performance, and adjust as appropriate
• Develop behavior plans and programs to reduce problem behaviors and teach functional skills
• Collaborate with peers, leaders, and other team members
• Some of the areas you will address with your client may include: Language acquisition, Functional communication training, Social skills training, Daily living skills, Decreasing maladaptive behaviors, Community safety skills, Toilet training, Executive function training
Requirements:
• Current certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Minimum 2 years experience working with the ASD population
• At least 1 year of home-based ABA experience is highly preferred
• Experience supervising BCBA candidates and RBTs
• Experience with various assessment tools including Vineland, VB-MAPP, and AFLS
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
