PowerBI Consultant

Responsibilities: • Solution Design and Development: • Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and objectives. • Design and develop Power BI solutions to visualize and analyze data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and spreadsheets. • Data Modeling and Transformation: • Develop data models and perform data transformation and cleansing activities using Power Query and M language. • Implement calculated columns, measures, and DAX expressions to derive meaningful insights from raw data. • Visualization and Reporting: • Create interactive and engaging dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI Desktop. • Customize and format visuals to effectively communicate insights and key metrics to stakeholders. • Integration and Deployment: • Integrate Power BI solutions with other Microsoft technologies, such as Azure services, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365. • Assist in the deployment and configuration of Power BI reports and dashboards in production environments. • Training and Support: • Provide training and support to end-users on how to use and interpret Power BI reports and dashboards. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI functionality, performance, and data accuracy. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience. • 3+ years of experience in Power BI development and implementation. • Proficiency in Power Query, M language, and DAX for data modeling and transformation. • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices. • Experience with SQL databases and query optimization is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Effective communication and presentation abilities.
