Consultant, IT Audit & Assurance (Ottawa)

Deloitte is a leading Canadian professional services firm dedicated to making an impact that matters. As a Consultant in IT Audit & Assurance, you will engage with clients to assess and address technology-related risks, execute audit plans, and ensure compliance with audit objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow your skills through your work on client engagements – which include internal audits, risk assessments, technology audits (such as IT general controls) and third-party assurance (such as SOC 1 and SOC 2 audits)
• Meet with clients to discuss their business and technology processes and identify areas of risk
• Execute an audit plan that addresses those risks and ensures compliance with the audit objectives
• Conduct fieldwork, which may include interviewing staff, reviewing documentation, and testing controls
• Identify potential issues using analytical and problem-solving skills
• Communicate with your team and clients, providing updates on your progress and discussing any issues that arise
• Draft audit findings and discuss issues with management

• Completed a post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field
