Apex Systems is hiring for a QA Analyst for a major Healthcare company. 9 months contract with potential to extend or convert. FULLY REMOTE - EST, CST, or MST is preferred for working time zone. You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. About the role: The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for conducting process control audits and/or documentation reviews for compliance with standards such as internal and regulatory standards and ISO and URAC standards. This position identifies and tracks opportunities for improvement, which may include formal preventive and corrective action requests (PARs and CARs) and departmental processes. This position also performs processes that support the policy and procedure (P&P) application, including author/user coaching and ad hoc reporting.Education/Experience:Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum two years audit or quality control experience. Minimum two years experience in Health Net Federal Services, health care industry or health care benefits preferred. Database maintenance experience preferred Technical Skills:QA/Testing experienceHealth Care experienceDay to Day:Review Requirements and Specifications: Analyze business and technical requirements to understand the scope of testing. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to clarify any ambiguities.Test Planning and Strategy: Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements. Identify test data needs and prepare datasets for testing.Manual and Automated Testing: Execute manual test cases to validate functionality, usability, and performance. Run automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG. Log and track defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.Regression and Smoke Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality. Conduct smoke testing to verify basic functionality after deployments.Collaboration and Communication: Attend daily stand-up meetings to report testing progress and raise blockers. Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues. Provide feedback on user experience and suggest improvements.Documentation and Reporting: Document test results, defects, and testing metrics. Prepare and share test summary reports with stakeholders.The team will work on expanding the Service Fund application to bring in new sources, expand functionality, and support the existing application.
