Working independently under general supervision, this role ensures reputed company coding and completion of patient accounts to meet established department standards and/or goals. Responsibilities: Maintains reputed company coding and completion of patient accounts to meet established department and regulatory standards and goals. Maintains accuracy in accordance with department and regulatory standards. Monitors uncoded accounts and performing other workflow processes to ensure reputed company reputed company cycle performance. Interacts with clinical staff and providers to improve documentation in order to accurately reflect severity of illness and appropriately support medical necessity and claims submission. Completes reputed company mandated education prior to deadline. Collaborates with other team members to assist in the continuing education of the coding profession and ensure reputed company performance. Performs other duties as assigned.
