Quality and Requirements, Vehicle Interior & Exterior Intern

Support engineering with quality and R&D for vehicle interior and exterior concepts at BMW Group. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Report directly to the senior engineer responsible for interior and exterior concept requirements • Utilize internal and external data sets to identify car areas needing improvement • Support root cause analysis of customer dissatisfaction including technical issues and market-specific use cases • Coordinate with dealer and customer-facing personnel to align US top issues with vehicle concepts • Present research results and improvement proposals to supervisor and engineering group • Conduct benchmarking studies using publicly available media and hands-on vehicle evaluations • Maintain and optimize tools to automatically evaluate customer survey results using AI and traditional software • Support IQS and Welcome Call Data evaluations • Align work results with AQ departments in Munich and synchronize with other Q-Liaison areas like drive dynamics and infotainment About You The company is looking for: • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 • Completed at least 60 college credits or be a rising Junior • Field of study: Engineering, Computer Science, or related field • Ability to work part-time (20-29 hours/week) • Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only) • Experience with customer research • Excellent knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel • Excellent time-management, organizational, and planning skills • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information • Self-motivated, adaptable, able to work independently and as part of a team • 6 months of availability preferred • Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript Compensation & Benefits • Hourly rate: $29.90 for undergraduate students, $36.80 for graduate students (based on academic level) • Medical insurance • Paid time off plus company paid holidays where eligible • Hybrid work environment • Intern vehicle lease program How to Apply • Submit application with a copy of your unofficial college transcript This job may close before the stated closing date, you are encouraged to apply as soon as possible Report this job Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
