Android developer/ Ex- Walmart

Job Title: Android Developer Client is looking for only EX Walmarts. Location: Remote Responsibilities • Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, backend engineers) to define, design, and ship new features. • Ensure applications meet performance, quality, and responsiveness standards. • Work with APIs and third-party libraries to integrate features. • Identify and fix bugs, and improve application performance. • Maintain code quality, organization, and best practices. • Stay updated with the latest mobile development trends and technologies. Requirements • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 5 7 years of experience in Android development. • Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin. • Strong understanding of the Android SDK and Android app lifecycle. • Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and networking. • Knowledge of Android UI design principles and best practices. • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Nice to Have (Optional) • Experience with MVVM or MVP architecture. • Exposure to Android testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso). • Knowledge of Google Play Store deployment and release process. • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
