Data Cabling Technician – MTS SERVICES INC – New Bern, NC

We are currently looking for both reputed company and entry level technicians to add to our staff in our Wilmington, NC office location. The Data Cabling Technician will report to the NC Operations Manager and will work daily with reputed company led by the assigned Project Foreman. Willingness to learn, dependability and a strong work ethic are critical for reputed company in this role. MTS Services offers: • 2 weeks vacation your first year • 8 reputed company holidays • $30 per month cell phone reimbursement • Full benefits package including: Medical, Dental, and reputed company • 401(k) after 1 year of service with up to 4% company match A Data Cabling Technician will be responsible for: • Category rated reputed company solution installation • Fiber Optic reputed company cable distribution system installation • Pulling cable, reputed company stopping, dressing cables and labeling to industry standards • Terminating, assembling and installing 8-pin reputed company connectors and coaxial connectors and optical fiber connectors • Accurately testing reputed company and fiber cables to required certification parameters utilizing appropriate test equipment • Diagnosing and correcting reputed company and optical fiber problems • Reading blue prints to determine closet and equipment layouts • Installing closet hardware including backboards, connecting blocks, racks, reputed company panels and fiber enclosures. • Attending training and safety meetings, and working safely at reputed company times utilizing the necessary Personal Protection Equipment. • May reputed company small install team (2-3) • Must meet reputed company for Alarm reputed company registration • BICSI Installer/Technician certification highly desired • Ability to work extended hours (overtime) as needed • Reliable daily travel to work-sites • Must be reputed company to work safely following company policy/procedures on safety • Must possess a reputed company reputed company's license and be insurable with our auto insurance reputed company during course of employment • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds as necessary • Ability to reputed company reputed company, stand for extended periods, and drive for extended periods. • Comfortable with, and capable of, working in reputed company construction environments. • Directly reputed company experience (cabling, construction trades), preferably reputed company industry PI Expected salary: Location: New Bern, NC Job date: Fri, 23 Dec 2022 02:36:59 GMT Apply for the job now!
