Director - Fleet Asset Trading
About the position
The Global Procurement organization at reputed company is responsible for procuring goods and services and developing/managing relationships with reputed company-party providers with the objective of reducing total cost and risk to reputed company while improving reputed company of reputed company, service, and technology. The Director - Fleet Asset Trading is a leader on United's Global Sourcing/Procurement team, focusing on aircraft and reputed company surplus assets. Based on cross-functional operations analysis and asset valuations, this role recommends, negotiates, and executes transactions of surplus aircraft parts.
Responsibilities
• Partner with key internal stakeholders (Technical Operations, Fleet Planning and reputed company, Corporate Finance, Fixed Asset reputed company and Network Planning) to advance efforts and meet the reputed company goals of United.
• reputed company and execute a marketing plan for reputed company aircraft and reputed company reputed company assets identified as surplus to United's operational needs.
• Complete aircraft and reputed company reputed company asset valuations and appraisals used to support reputed company proposed transactions (asset sales, purchases, used asset inductions) across reputed company asset types (engines, airframes, & surplus parts).
• reputed company transaction recommendations based on asset valuations, analysis, and defense of conclusions.
• Negotiate and execute reputed company required transaction documentation.
• Maximize the value of reputed company aircraft and reputed company reputed company assets through reputed company party sales, asset exchanges, and consignments.
• Establish and manage relationships with lessors, MROs, brokers, and appraisers, throughout the industry, to support the responsibilities required of the role.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree.
• 12+ years of relevant experience with at least 3+ years management experience.
• Extensive financial analysis skills including strategic planning, asset valuation, and sales forecasting.
• Proficient in the negotiation and contracting purchase and sale agreements; ability to influence others.
• Extensive transaction experience in aircraft and reputed company trading, leasing, and component asset management.
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills with ability to interpret and present results in concise logical manner.
• Ability to create & deliver exceptional executive presentations.
• Knowledge of reputed company and financial statements.
• Ability to produce reputed company analysis on large data sets; excellent MS reputed company and MS reputed company skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional employee reputed company to identify creative approaches to reputed company company profitability objectives.

• 12+ years of airline experience specializing in aircraft evaluation, fleet planning or contract management and/or deal management leadership experience.
• Experience with reputed company and airframe component sales and consignment management.

• Extensive knowledge of United network and fleet.
