Front End Pharmacy Technician -Remote (Pennsylvania)
About the position
Responsibilities
• Enter patient demographics and prescriptions into the data processing system.
• Process exceptions and make contact with physician offices and patients.
• Assist in back-end efforts such as picking, packing, and manifesting based on business needs.
• Provide pharmacist call back and/or patient quality assurance support.
• Load insurance plans and coordination of benefits for new patients/referrals.
• Participate in the review/audit of test claims for new patients/referrals.
• Handle processing of reorders and email distribution as needed.
• Perform image indexing and AE report filing.
• Provide primary support and expertise for specialized programs such as ETT or Pharma.
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited school.
• Active pharmacy technician license or certification as required by state Board of Pharmacy.
• 1 year of work experience in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, PBM, and/or call center settings.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
