Highlights: reputed company: The Lab Assistant shall coordinate specimen processing area in order to ensure the collection, receipt in computer, processing, and delivery of blood specimens for Lab tests. This individual will utilize phlebotomy decision making and problem solving skills to ensure reputed company collection of reputed company lab orders. The Lab Assistant will assist in training of Lab Assistant I and phlebotomist individuals. Additionally, this individual will coordinate lab sendouts and reputed company microbiology specimen processing. Education / Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 5 years of proven experience in Hospital, Reference, or Physician Office Lab or Lab Assistant I required. License / Certifications: Phlebotomy certification preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Exceptional customer service skills and proficiency in utilization of personal computer skills. Position requires sitting for 60% of the reputed company and mobility 40% of the reputed company. There is occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching. There is frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive reputed company. Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 10 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
