Part-Time Product Manager/Owner

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">We’re looking for a <strong>part-time Product Manager/Owner</strong> who can help shape and guide our product roadmap, break down improvements into manageable pieces of work, keep development projects moving, and ensure our customers get a product that’s not only functional but a pleasure to use. You’ll work closely with our small development team - including our founder - to prioritise features, design functionality, coordinate releases, and improve our user interface.</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across strategy and execution, with a mix of <strong>product management, project coordination, and a good eye for UI/UX design</strong>.<br><br></span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></span></p> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li2"><span class="s1">Collaborate with the founder and developers to define and maintain the product roadmap</span></li> <li class="li2"><span class="s1">Translate customer needs and feedback into actionable product and technical requirements </span></li> <li class="li2"><span class="s1">Plan and manage development work, ensuring continuous improvement of our product, as well as addressing bugs promptly</span></li> <li class="li2"><span class="s1">Conduct light user testing and usability reviews</span></li> <li class="li2"><span class="s1">Coordinate release notes and ensure smooth feature rollouts</span></li> <li class="li2"><span class="s1">Ideally you will also help to create designs and prototypes to help improve the UI/UX as features are improved</span></li> <li class="li1"><span class="s1">Maintain clear communication between the development team and other stakeholders<br><br></span></li> </ul> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>About You</strong></span></p> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li2"><span class="s1">4+ years of product management, or similar experience</span></li> <li class="li2"><span class="s1">Strong organisational skills and attention to detail</span></li> <li class="li2"><span class="s1">Experience working with or alongside technical teams</span></li> <li class="li2"><span class="s1">Some hands-on UI/UX design or wireframing skills (Figma or similar)</span></li> <li class="li2"><span class="s1">Excellent communicator - you can translate technical ideas for non-technical audiences and vice versa</span></li> <li class="li2"><span class="s1">Comfortable working independently in a remote team environment</span></li> <li class="li2"><span class="s1">Self-motivated and proactive - you can spot issues before they become problems</span></li> <li class="li1"><span class="s1">Located in a time zone that allows at least 4 hours of overlap with both Australia (AEST) and Pakistan (PKT)<br><br></span></li> </ul> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Nice-to-Haves</strong></span></p> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li2"><span class="s1">Experience in SaaS, especially HR or business software</span></li> <li class="li2"><span class="s1">Understanding of web application development fundamentals</span></li> <li class="li1"><span class="s1">Some UI/UX experience and skills<br><br></span></li> </ul> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>What We Offer</strong></span></p> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li2"><span class="s1">Flexible hours - although you’ll need to work with our developers and other stakeholders, much of your hours will be flexible</span></li> <li class="li2"><span class="s1">Opportunity to shape a growing product used by businesses worldwide</span></li> <li class="li2"><span class="s1">Collaborative, friendly, and low-bureaucracy team culture</span></li> <li class="li2"><span class="s1">Fully remote work with competitive pay</span></li> <li class="li1"><span class="s1">Part-time work of approx. 20 hours per week<br><br></span></li> </ul> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">If you’re excited about building great products and making a visible impact in a small, close-knit team, we’d love to hear from you!</span></p>
