Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines to support business-critical applications and analytics
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize data engineering projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable code, and implement automated testing and deployment processes
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the organization, adhering to industry best practices and compliance standards

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field
  • 2+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on data lake frameworks, data warehousing, and data analytics tools
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL development, performance tuning, and programming languages such as Python, PySpark, or Scala
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud data engineering, preferably with Azure
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Experience with data profiling and data quality tools, such as Apache Griffin or Deequ
  • Proficient in version control systems, such as GitHub, and CI/CD tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure certification or equivalent experience with cloud services
  • Experience with multi-cloud integration, on-premises technologies, and hybrid environments
  • Familiarity with statistical and machine learning techniques, as well as business intelligence tools like PowerBI
  • Knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, and data glossaries
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, DevOps, and DataOps practices
