About the Role
As a Senior Manager, Global Trade Licensing and Compliance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to critical regulations such as the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and other global mandates that shape operations across our U.S. and international sites. This hybrid role is located in Rockford, IL, Phoenix, AZ, Charlotte, NC, or Windsor Locks, CT, and offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of licensing professionals and provide licensing guidance and license portfolio management guidance to support business growth
- Support and nurture each member of your team with career development guidance and activities to ensure their success
- Develop and implement licensing strategies to enable business growth and expansion into new markets
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in ITAR and EAR Export Authorizations requirements and drafting, providing expert guidance and support to the team
- Review, prepare, submit, and manage Export Authorizations (Licenses DSP-5, DSP-73, DOC licenses, Agreements MLAs, TAAs, Exemptions/Exceptions) to authorize the transfer of regulated hardware, technical data, software, and services
- Review and approve export transactional requests involving employee travel, visitor access, technical data exports, and hardware exports, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
- Assist with investigations and reviews of possible Global Trade escapes and disclosures, contributing to the continuous improvement of our compliance processes

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined by the U.S. government
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in business management, international business, legal, or international trade from an accredited institution
- GTS and OCR experience
- People Leader experience
- GT Licensing experience

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $118,000 - $246,000, as well as a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, three weeks of vacation for newly hired employees, and a generous 401(k) plan that includes employer matching funds and separate employer retirement contribution. We also offer a range of other benefits, including tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment, and life insurance and disability coverage.
