Research Associate - The Health Initiative: Driving Change in Healthcare through Data-Driven Insights and Community Empowerment
About The Health Initiative
The Health Initiative (THI) is a pioneering nonprofit organization dedicated to revolutionizing the way we approach health and healthcare in the United States. Founded in 2018, THI is committed to addressing the systemic issues that have led to a healthcare system where only 20% of health outcomes are tied to clinical care, despite the country spending approximately $12 billion daily on healthcare.
THI's mission is to catalyze new conversations about and new investments in the known drivers of health, aiming to create a health-based economy that equitably invests in health, not just healthcare. By working intensively with public and private healthcare institutions, THI guides them in partnering with communities to invest in health, not just healthcare, and to address historical health disparities.
