Job Summary

As a Home Infusion RN with Aetna, you will work independently in a full-time capacity, visiting patients in Seattle and surrounding areas (approximately 150-mile range). You will provide a wide range of infusion treatments, patient education, and one-on-one care visits as per the physician's treatment plan. This is a unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and their families while enjoying a flexible schedule and competitive compensation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide infusion therapies in patients' homes, including medication administration and patient education
  • Utilize clinical IV experience and critical thinking skills to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Conduct patient assessments, document patient information, and track patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed, providing 24/7 support to patients and families
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, using electronic medical records and other software applications

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Washington (additional licensure may be required for multi-state service areas)
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, with IV-related experience preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation as needed

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • 3 years of nursing experience
  • 1 year of infusion experience
  • Home healthcare experience
