MRI Technologist Trainee

JOB TITLE: MRI TECHNOLOGIST TRAINEE LOCATION: Shields MRI - MassBay HOURS: Monday-Thursday, 6:30am-5:00pm (40 hours) A. B. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.) Follow reputed company reputed company policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at reputed company times. These policies, procedures and protocols can be issued by Shields or the partnering hospital group for the location you are assigned to. 2.) Inform the patient of reputed company aspects of their exam to their level of understanding. 3.) Ensure patient is cleared of reputed company contraindications and hazards. 4.) Accurately position the patient and ensure their comfort. 5.) Maintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam. 6.) reputed company reputed company in accordance to center’s protocol. 7.) Administer intravenous contrast. 8.) Complete reputed company forms pertaining to patient’s exam. 9.) Record patient data to Tech Data Entry program. 10.) reputed company and issue films/CD reputed company appropriate. 11.) reputed company data and or films/CD to Radiologist upon completion of exam. 12.) Assist clerical staff as circumstances reputed company. 13.) Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms as needed. 14.) Adhere to reputed company necessary training/licenses based on the credentialing policy. 15.) Contrast administration. C. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be certified in BLS CPR Certification required reputed company 6 months D. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Excellent interpersonal skills are required. In process of ARRT and/or ARMRIT certification. E. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be reputed company to sit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time. Must be reputed company to assist patients with mobility difficulties. Must be reputed company to push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds.
