As a data engineer at blithequark, you will work closely with our data science team to develop and implement data solutions that meet the needs of our business and customers. You will be responsible for: * Designing and building data pipelines and architectures to collect, process, and analyze large datasets * Developing and maintaining ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract data from various sources and load it into our data warehouse * Collaborating with our data science team to develop and implement data solutions that meet the needs of our business and customers * Working with cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) to design and build scalable and secure data architectures * Developing and maintaining data models and data stores to support our data science and analytics efforts * Investigating and implementing new technologies and tools to improve our data engineering capabilities **Responsibilities** As a data engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for: * Designing and building data pipelines and architectures to collect, process, and analyze large datasets * Developing and maintaining ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract data from various sources and load it into our data warehouse * Collaborating with our data science team to develop and implement data solutions that meet the needs of our business and customers * Working with cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) to design and build scalable and secure data architectures * Developing and maintaining data models and data stores to support our data science and analytics efforts * Investigating and implementing new technologies and tools to improve our data engineering capabilities * Ensuring that our data is accurate, reliable, and secure, and that our data pipelines and architectures are scalable and maintainable **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need: * 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in designing and building data pipelines and architectures * 5+ years of experience with SQL, with a strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing * 5+ years of experience with Python, with a strong understanding of data processing and analysis * Experience with cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), with a strong understanding of scalable and secure data architectures * Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment * Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark is a plus * Experience with revealing (Scene) is a plus * Medical services industry experience is a plus **Preferred Qualifications** We are looking for candidates with: * Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark * Experience with revealing (Scene) * Medical services industry experience * Strong knowledge of data engineering principles and practices * Strong understanding of cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) * Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing * Strong understanding of data processing and analysis **What We Offer** As a data engineer at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding projects, collaborate with a talented and innovative team, and contribute to the development of our data engineering capabilities.
