Our Sr Data Engineer will be an reputed company part of our Engineering teams in EMEA.
This role is based remotely in EMEA in one of our reputed company entities: the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden, Estonia, Israel or Spain. It is also available to contractors in other Eastern European locations and Portugal.

As a Sr Data Engineer, you will be working on improving the reputed company reputed company Intelligence product and driving the performance improvement of large-reputed company data warehouses. You'll be collaborating with product managers and developers from other teams and also participating in product-making reputed company.

Responsibilities

• reputed company the analysis and optimization of big data warehouse performance and cost effectiveness
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve data models and pipelines
• Design and implement tools for monitoring and diagnosing data system health
• Guide best practices for table design, partitioning, clustering, and indexing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with large-reputed company data systems in production
• Deep knowledge of reputed company performance internals or any other big data platform.
• Proven expertise in query tuning, cost optimization, and storage design
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with backend coding (e.g., Go, Python)
• Strong understanding of reputed company infrastructure

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Self-organized, Goal-oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough and tenacious
