Workwarp is partnering with a financial bank based in Cincinnati, Ohio, to fill a critical contract role for a Remote Production Controls Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and be part of a 24/7 work environment, ensuring the smooth operation of production jobs and schedules. As a Remote Production Controls Technician, you will play a vital role in monitoring and maintaining the production environment, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with the application team to resolve problems.

About Our Company and the Role

Our client is a financial bank with a strong presence in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. As a Remote Production Controls Technician, you will be working on a team of three other individuals, monitoring the production environment during night shifts (12:30 am - 8:30 am, Monday through Friday). This is a remote role, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain the 24/7 production environment, ensuring that all jobs are running smoothly and deadlines are met.
  • Update schedules and run production jobs as required.
  • Troubleshoot issues independently and escalate to the application team or other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the application team to resolve problems and ensure that production jobs are completed successfully.
  • Maintain a list of items to be monitored throughout each shift, ensuring that all tasks are completed.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues and stakeholders as needed.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-3 years of experience with job scheduling, preferably with tools such as Job Track, CA7, CA11, or Tivoli.
  • A solid background in JCL (Job Control Language) and experience with Sterling, FTP, or NDM Data Transfers.
  • Experience with Service Now or Remedy is highly desirable.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is not required, but relevant experience and skills are essential.
