Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on equipment and machinery at our distribution centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with experience working with high-tech equipment and machinery. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery, including preventive maintenance tasks and minor mechanical fixes.
  • Utilize Electronic Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track and record maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with manufacturer's recommendations and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Senior Maintenance Technicians to perform complex repairs and upgrades on high-tech equipment, including predictive maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Identify and report potential safety hazards and take corrective action to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work at heights of up to 100 feet to perform repairs and maintenance tasks, as well as lift and move heavy equipment and parts weighing up to 80 pounds.
  • Perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, sitting, standing, and walking, as needed.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • A partner's certification in Modern or Maintenance Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience in an office, US Military, distribution, or manufacturing environment, or 4 years of experience in a similar setting.

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Knowledge of modern power systems, including single-phase and three-phase power, engines, safety devices, and photo sensors.
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and their programming standards.
  • Experience transferring and downloading PLCs, System Control Systems (SCSs), and scanners.
  • Experience with devices such as photo sensors, PLCs, remote I/O modules, servo drives, and variable frequency drives.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and lift heavy equipment and parts.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
