Supervisor, Media Relations
Job Description:
• Plan, direct & coordinate media relations activities
• Develop strategic media plans to land earned coverage
• Generate story ideas and newsworthy pitch angles
• Conduct media outreach and build relationships with influential reporters
• Assist in research for new business pitches
• Develop monthly client-facing emails for key reporter moves
Requirements:
• Approximately 3 years of experience in health/science public relations
• Experience with media strategy, story development, and pitching
• Understanding of how newsrooms work
• Experience in journalism is a plus
• Exceptional written and oral communications
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• BA or BS in Public Relations, Communications, or related field
