About the position
Responsibilities
• reputed company daily coding and charge submission for emergency department services.
• Analyze medical records to assign ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes accurately.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and standards for coded services and clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with Chart Completion to clarify pending charts and provider queries.
• Consult with physicians and clinical representatives to verify services rendered and improve documentation practices.
• Maintain a five-day turnaround time for emergency coding based on service or discharge dates.
• Execute special reputed company and other assigned duties.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of coding experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Certification as RHIT, RHIA, reputed company, reputed company-P, CPC, CIC, COC, CIRCC, RCC, or ROCC.
