As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our streaming services and driving growth through innovative software solutions. **About the Role** As a Full Stack Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of talented engineers in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, cloud-based applications that power our streaming services. You will be responsible for: * Building and managing a high-performing software engineering team, including recruiting, training, and developing team members * Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define product roadmaps and technical requirements * Developing and maintaining a strong engineering culture, including promoting best practices, coding standards, and continuous improvement * Overseeing the design and development of cloud-based applications, including microservices, APIs, and data storage solutions * Ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of our software solutions * Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software engineering and cloud computing **Key Responsibilities** * Build and manage a high-performing software engineering team, including recruiting, training, and developing team members * Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define product roadmaps and technical requirements * Develop and maintain a strong engineering culture, including promoting best practices, coding standards, and continuous improvement * Oversee the design and development of cloud-based applications, including microservices, APIs, and data storage solutions * Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of our software solutions * Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software engineering and cloud computing * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements * Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications * Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and other engineering activities to ensure high-quality software solutions **Essential Qualifications** * 3+ years of experience in software engineering management, including leading teams and driving technical initiatives * 3+ years of experience in software development, including designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications * Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban * Strong technical skills in software engineering, including programming languages, data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns * Experience with cloud computing platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud * Experience with containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes * Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders **Preferred Qualifications** * 5+ years of experience in software engineering management, including leading teams and driving technical initiatives * Experience with reactive programming on JVM languages, preferably Java * Hands-on experience as a service administrator with experience creating and managing identity frameworks * Hands-on experience managing AWS services with explicit experience using Terraform or other infrastructure as code (IAC) tools * Hands-on experience expanding on and managing distributed NoSQL data stores like DynamoDB, Cassandra, Scylla, and Couchbase * Experience working with remote global teams and an adaptable schedule across various time zones **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work on high-impact projects that shape the future of streaming entertainment * Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a talented team of engineers and innovators * Professional development opportunities, including training, mentorship, and career growth * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options and flexible hours * Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools, including cloud computing platforms, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and experienced software engineering leader with a passion for building high-performing teams and driving innovation in the cloud, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
