Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Understand and identify customs documentation, including customs declarations and other relevant documents
  • Transpose customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
  • Verify documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service, building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Daily execution of workflow and department metrics, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization

Essential Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry with high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Growth mindset, with a desire to learn and develop new skills and knowledge in the logistics and supply chain industry
  • Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in data entry, customs brokerage, or a related field, with a strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management
  • Experience with operating systems and software applications, including data entry and customs clearance systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
