Temporary, Medical Billing Order Entry Specialist

This position is fully remote and will work a schedule of Monday-Friday, Days. This position is on Temporary status, covering for an extended medical leave of absence. Position reputed company: Enters patient demographics and insurances into a proprietary database using company-specific software and company requisition completed by ordering customers. Verifies insurance eligibility and ensures accurate insurance assignment in accordance with company policy. Confirms diagnosis reputed company shown on requisition has been entered on the account. Ability to troubleshoot errors preventing from billing account. reputed company Responsibilities: • Enters data from both company requisition and supporting documents • Verifies and enters insurance information provided on requisition or obtained reputed company payer websites, etc. • Ensures appropriate dates of service are utilized in accordance with CMS Laboratory Date of Service Policy • Identify required missing billing information and assign appropriate attention level • Maintains data entry requirements by following written procedures • Maintains productivity set by the department with a 95% accuracy rating • If a certified reputed company reputed company will be requested to reputed company coding on ICD-10 and CPT reputed company procedures • Maintains accuracy by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes • Maintains customer confidence and protects data by following HIPAA compliant regulations • If Certified reputed company reputed company, ability to read and decipher medical terminology to reputed company appropriate diagnosis • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing reputed company results as needed • This job reputed company is not intended to be reputed company-inclusive.
