About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Chat Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a Chat Associate, you will be the face of our company, providing top-notch customer service to our clients through live chats and emails. Your primary goal will be to deliver solutions that create a positive experience for our customers, while also driving sales and maintaining high performance metrics. Key Responsibilities

  • Answer 2-3 incoming chats using the LiveEngage (LivePerson) platform, providing timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries
  • Reply to incoming emails from customers, ensuring prompt and professional communication
  • Request contact prescriptions via phone from eye care providers as needed, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Consult customers on the best value for their contact lens purchase, driving sales and promoting blithequark's products and services
  • Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times
  • Maintain high performance metrics, including quality, sales, and dependability, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Problem-solve and think critically, keeping the customer and company in mind, and escalating issues as necessary

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma (or GED equivalent)
  • Great typing and computer skills, with a minimum of 35 words per minute
  • Previous experience in customer service and sales, with a proven track record of driving sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Self-starter, driven, motivated, proactive, and disciplined, with a strong work ethic and a passion for customer service
  • Ability to think innovatively and on the fly, with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Technical aptitude, with experience using live chat platforms and CRM software
  • Resourceful and self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and grow with the company
