Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Frontend Coach for non-complex projects to join our team. This role is an exceptional opportunity for a professional with a strong background in frontend development and coaching to drive business results, lead teams effectively, and define industry standards. As a Frontend Coach, you will be responsible for teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, providing feedback, and communicating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Tour stores and provide feedback (Tour-to-Teach) to improve store operations and customer service standards.
- Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Introduce and lead company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively.
- Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
- Manage and support customer service initiatives, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved, and develop action plans to correct deficiencies.
- Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and communicating expectations consistently and effectively.
- Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to teach, train, and develop associates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of associates and stakeholders.
- Ability to drive business results, lead teams, and define industry standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review and evaluate P&L statements, manage and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including responsibility for performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
