Design, The Trust Internship

Support design projects for Dow Jones’ award-winning branded content studio, The Trust, in a hybrid NYC internship. Your Role Key responsibilities include: • Supporting and shadowing Art Directors on day-to-day projects and initiatives • Assisting in developing design assets for internal requests and client work, including presentations and invitations • Contributing to layout, image sourcing, and file preparation for the design team • Helping adapt creative concepts across social, web, and event platforms • Participating in client campaign brainstorms, offering fresh ideas and design perspectives About You The company is looking for: • Completion of at least two years toward a Bachelor’s degree (BA/BFA) in graphic, digital, visual, or brand design • By next summer, you will be a rising junior or rising senior in your undergraduate program • Passion for color, typography, graphic design, and web design • Detail-oriented and highly motivated; able to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams • Strong organizational, time management, communication, and multitasking skills • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and experience with Figma • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Slides, Docs) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word) • Experience in video/motion design (After Effects, Premiere) or web development (CSS, HTML, WordPress) is a plus Compensation & Benefits • Salary: $25.00/hour • Pay range: $25.00 - $25.00 per hour • Competitive compensation offers tailored based on experience, skills, and other factors • Pay-for-performance strategy with bonus eligibility for applicable roles • Comprehensive benefits package including physical health, retirement and savings, caregiving, emotional wellbeing, transportation, and elective benefits How to Apply Submit your application as early as possible since internship applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
