As a Part-Time Student Security Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, testing, and integrating technology related to security orchestration, automation, and response. You'll work closely with our team to implement cyber security services and business processes, support and evaluate technology and business processes, and create playbooks and workflows for automation in security incident response. About the Role

The Part-Time Student Program is designed to augment our regular full-time staff and is open to students who work in parallel to their school schedule year-round. As a Part-Time Student Security Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, develop your skills and expertise, and contribute to our team's success. This is a remote position, and you'll have the flexibility to work from home and manage your schedule around your academic commitments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and integrate technology related to security orchestration, automation, and response.
• Participate in the implementation of cyber security services and business processes.
• Support, evaluate, and continuously improve technology and business processes to maintain alignment with business plans.
• Create playbooks and workflows for automation in security incident response.
• Troubleshoot issues with current workflows/scripts in response.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a strong foundation in IT and security, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Here are the key requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge/experience in Python.
• Knowledge/experience of DevOps tools.
• Knowledge/experience in Cloud Computing Platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience in automation.
• Knowledge in creating/managing IT solutions.
