Key Responsibilities

  • Answer customer questions and requests for supplies, service, and troubleshoot first-level technical issues via various communication channels.
  • Positively build and maintain excellent customer service, identifying when technical support can be provided via phone.
  • Provide clear and concise communications, following up with customers on company schedules, requested lead times, and delivery times.
  • Collaborate with the Tier 2 team to seamlessly pass escalated customer technical issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Track, route, and escalate unresolved issues to Management, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Remain current on constant process updates and technology used within the company, adapting to changes and improvements.
  • Perform duties with awareness and in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Perform other duties as directed by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A reliable internet connection is a must, as you will be working from home.
  • Experience in a call center environment is a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, Order processing systems, and Contact Management systems is desirable.
  • Ability to empathize with customers is critical, as you will be working with them to resolve issues and provide support.
  • Ability to multi-task, talking and typing simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic internet skills.
  • Demonstrate professional communication skills, with a high degree of initiative, mature judgment, and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications
