Your expertise will support the efficiency of our billing system, ensuring seamless communication with payers, patients, and internal stakeholders. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to analyze information will be essential in maintaining the highest quality standards and achieving productivity benchmarks. **Key Responsibilities** * Accurately receive and register payments and adjustments to accounts, ensuring compliance with Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and relevant regulations. * Post copays, deductibles, coinsurance, write-offs, and other payments in accordance with EOB guidelines, utilizing account data for accurate write-offs related to CPT codes as instructed by payers. * Effectively apply recoupments based on EOB guidelines, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments. * Perform system transactions to accurately post daily cash receipts, retractions, refunds, denials, and adjustments, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. * Achieve productivity benchmarks while upholding the highest quality standards, ensuring seamless communication with internal stakeholders and external partners. * Manage sensitive information meticulously, in compliance with professional standards and relevant regulations, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times. **Required Skills** * Previous experience in medical billing is preferred, with a strong understanding of medical billing terminology and procedures. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. * Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organizational capabilities, ability to conduct effective information analysis, and excellent documentation and time management skills. * Basic proficiency in mathematics, with the ability to accurately calculate and process payments. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, external partners, and patients. **Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent is required, with experience in medical billing being advantageous. * Strong understanding of medical billing terminology and procedures, with the ability to analyze and interpret EOBs and other relevant documents. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. **Career Growth Opportunities** Joining our team provides you with the opportunity to enhance your career in the medical billing field, supported by ongoing training and professional development avenues within our organization.
