[Remote] Temporary Staff Accountant (Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Atlantic Group is seeking a Temporary Staff Accountant to support general ledger operations and financial reporting. In this remote role, you will handle balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and audit support while ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX.
Responsibilities
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules related to monthly close and corporate transactions.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP by reviewing general ledger details and recording necessary adjustments.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance procedures.
• Provide documentation for audits and collaborate with departments to ensure accurate transaction recording.
• Assist in improving accounting procedures and system workflows to enhance reporting accuracy.
Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
• 1-3 years of hands-on accounting experience in corporate or public accounting, with exposure to monthly close and financial reporting processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a remote setting.
• Preferred experience in SAP, Blackline, and BPC for financial reporting and process automation.
